CECOA respects and values the privacy of its clients, employees, partners, suppliers and all other personal data subjects with whom it engages and assumes the responsibility and commitment to protect such personal data by all possible means.
The purpose of this Privacy and Personal Data Processing Policy is to inform and ensure the security, protection and transparency of the personal data processing practices and mechanisms under CECOA’s responsibility and of all entities contracted by CECOA, reaffirming its commitment to the strict compliance of the applicable legislation in this area.
Personal data means any information, of any nature and regardless of the respective medium, including sound and image, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
A natural person is considered identifiable when she/he can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to a name, an identification number, location data, electronic identifiers, or to one or more elements specific to her/his physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.
As a commitment to ensuring privacy, embedded in its organisational culture, CECOA, within the scope of the application of privacy rules in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, and other legislation in force, has defined a global privacy management model with clear and transparent procedures, designed to ensure full compliance with the rules in this domain.
